The inlet of cold air is a special spigot mounted upon customer`s request for an additional charge at each of our fireplace inserts with a cast-iron base.

Its purpose is to provide fresh combustion air.

For proper operation, each fireplace needs the right amount of air. Its scarcity often becomes one of the main problems of the malfunctioning of an insert. In order for the fireplace to not cause us any problems, it must have approx. 8-10 m³/h of air supplied per 1 kg of wood. If there is no other way, it gets air from the room in which it is located. And because it is most often located in the living room, i.e. a place where we often spend time, in reality indirectly "takes" the air away from us.
